Hello,
I am Melih Ş. Özgür.
Music and writing are not two separate worlds for me. They are different scenes of the same story. In Istanbul’s relentless tempo, I turn accumulated thoughts into songs and texts. Under the name “NightCall”, my work follows an introspective, questioning line with a strong emotional intensity.
Published books
Kronik Kayboluş
A fragmented collection shaped by psychological and philosophical themes. It moves through stream of consciousness, inner monologues, psychotic breaks, and existential pain. Each piece stands on its own, yet the book as a whole becomes a single mental journey.
Beni Kim Yazdı
A narrative built around trauma, memory, and the perception of reality. With its metafictional texture, it keeps the question alive: “Who is telling the story and who is being told?” As the story unfolds, the boundaries between author, character, and reader begin to blur.

In music, I mostly build AI-assisted instrumentals around lyrics I write myself. I blend electronic textures with melancholic melodies. Trust, vulnerability, loneliness, the search for belonging, and the struggle of facing oneself are recurring themes in both my songs and my writing.
If you’d like to explore the tracks, the Releases page is here.
This site is a personal space where my songs, books, and Night Notes meet. Published albums and singles, playlists, blog posts, and small behind-the-scenes stories all live here.
If you like work that bleeds into other work, you’re in the right place.
